AI is redefining the notion of “intelligence,” while design is shifting from a human monologue to a co-creation between the human and the non-human. At the same time, interactive technologies are enabling spaces to respond to emotions.Two keynote lectures—Design After Intelligence and Artistic Interactions Between Us and the Environment—will open new reflections on the future of design.

What if AI and design could help us feel more, not less? What if design wasn’t just functional, but also critical and emotional?
在科技迅速發展的時代，設計不僅關乎美學，更成為探索人與環境關係的重要橋樑。本次講座將由國際知名建築師與互動設計師 Behnaz Farahi 擔任主講，帶領我們深入了解如何運用人工智慧、可穿戴技術與互動設計，打造能夠感知與回應人類情感的環境與裝置。
Farahi 的作品橫跨建築、時尚與科技領域，並曾獲多項國際設計大獎，亦於 MoMA、Ars Electronica 等知名展覽中展出。她的研究挑戰了傳統設計的界限，讓空間與物件不再靜態，而是能夠與人互動、回應行為與情緒。

Design After Intelligence — When AI Designs, Who is Designing?
隨著人工智慧系統日益參與創意構思、造型生成與美學決策，設計正邁入一個全新階段——一個由人類與非人類共構的時代。本次主題演講將重新審視「智慧」這一概念，質疑長期以來支配設計教育與實踐的人類中心主義邏輯。如果「智慧」並非設計的頂點，而是某種過時認知的殘留物，人工智慧的生成性特質是否正揭示出這一限制？
As artificial intelligence systems increasingly participate in creative ideation, form generation, and aesthetic decision-making, design is entering a new stage—an era co-constructed by the human and the non-human. This keynote reexamines the very notion of “intelligence,” challenging the human-centered logic that has long dominated design education and practice. If “intelligence” is not the pinnacle of design but rather a residue of outdated cognition, might the generative nature of AI be exposing the limits of this paradigm？
