Find the good shine
《尋龜道距》透過毛線掛毯重現龜山早期建築與地景樣貌，將龜山地圖作為整體構圖軸線，以烏龜與兔子作為引導角色，帶領觀者探索龜山的歷史場景。作品分為三層：地形、鐵道與建築物，運用不同材質、線條粗細及針法呈現地勢起伏與地景細節，並結合互動設計，使角色能在建築間移動，增強參與感。色彩符號化地形：黃色代表高地、綠色象徵低地，細膩描繪曹家洋樓、壽山巖觀音寺及鐵道軌跡。作品亦結合NFC與AI動畫技術，觀者輕觸即可獲取作品背景與設計理念，兼具教育性與互動性。此作以柔軟材質與觸覺體驗拉近歷史與觀者的距離，透過視覺與觸覺感受龜山的記憶與文化溫度。
Seeking the Road to Guishan recreates the early architecture and landscapes of Guishan through a yarn tapestry, with the township’s map serving as the central compositional axis. Guided by turtle and rabbit characters, viewers are led to explore Guishan’s historical scenes. The work is structured in three layers—terrain, railway, and architecture—rendered with varied materials, yarn thickness, and stitching techniques to depict topographic contours and landscape details. Interactive design allows the characters to move among buildings, enhancing the sense of participation.
Colors symbolically represent the terrain: yellow for highlands, green for lowlands, with detailed depictions of landmarks such as the Tsao Family Mansion, Shoushanyan Guanyin Temple, and railway tracks. NFC and AI animation technologies are integrated, enabling viewers to access background information and design concepts through simple touch, merging educational value with interactivity. Using soft materials and tactile engagement, the work bridges history and audience, allowing Guishan’s memory and cultural warmth to be experienced through both sight and touch.
