在全球網路與 AI 技術的推動下，距離似乎被消弭，然而傳統工藝與文化智慧卻面臨分散與消逝的挑戰。《Lumo》以達文西工坊的精神為靈感，想像一個跨越時空、連結世界的創作角色。角色造型融合多國文化符號，帽子象徵全球工匠，書法筆尖造型的鼻樑與鬍子寓意書寫與文化傳承，圓潤比例則展現包容性，等待觀者為其添上專屬故事與色彩。
作品以 Maya 多邊形建模技術精細打造，並結合手繪三視圖確保造型精準與親和力。在「多語 AI 共創」工作坊中，Lumo 成為參與者的共創媒介，透過 AI 模型重新演繹地方圖騰、傳統工藝與民俗意象，重現達文西工坊的協作精神。此作品不僅彰顯文化融合與數位共創，更探討科技如何為傳統工藝注入新生命。
Driven by the global network and AI technologies, distances seem diminished, yet traditional crafts and cultural wisdom face the risk of fragmentation and disappearance. Lumo is imagined as a cross-temporal, world-connecting creative character inspired by the collaborative spirit of Leonardo da Vinci’s workshop. Its form integrates multicultural symbols: the hat signifies global artisans; the calligraphy-pen-shaped nose and beard evoke writing and cultural heritage; its rounded proportions express inclusivity—awaiting viewers to enrich it with their own stories and colors.
The character is meticulously crafted with Maya polygonal modeling, supported by hand-drawn orthographic sketches to ensure precision and approachability. In the “Multilingual AI Co-Creation” workshop, Lumo serves as a medium of collaboration, where AI models reinterpret local totems, traditional crafts, and folk imagery, reviving the cooperative ethos of da Vinci’s atelier. Beyond celebrating cultural fusion and digital co-creation, this work reflects on how technology can breathe new life into traditional crafts.
