Fish Can
《魚罐頭》講述一場注定失敗的逃亡:一名魚人不願被標準化成罐頭,試圖抗拒被制度化的命運。創作靈感源自作者童年教育經驗,反思「模範生」、「名校畢業」、「社會有用之才」等標籤對個體的壓迫。故事中,排隊等待加工的魚人象徵被制度推動的生命,而主角的半魚半人造型則呈現麻木、無力與失落。場景以低飽和色與工業光源表現制度化下的冷漠與暴力感。AI技術在動畫創作中扮演關鍵角色:AI生成音樂依照情緒關鍵詞提供氛圍基礎,並在AIVA中微調旋律與和聲,使音樂呈現悲劇色彩與連貫情緒。AI不僅加速創作流程,也強化了故事的情感張力與視覺表現,使寓言般的批判性議題更具感染力。
Fish Can tells the story of a doomed escape: a merman who refuses to be standardized into a can, struggling against the fate of institutionalization. The work draws inspiration from the artist’s childhood experiences in education, reflecting on how labels such as “model student,” “elite school graduate,” and “socially useful talent” impose pressures on the individual. In the narrative, the fish-people waiting in line for processing symbolize lives propelled by systemic forces, while the protagonist’s half-fish, half-human form embodies numbness, helplessness, and loss.
The scene employs low-saturation tones and industrial lighting to evoke the coldness and violence of institutionalization. AI plays a pivotal role in the animation process: AI-generated music, guided by emotional keywords, provides the atmospheric foundation, while melodies and harmonies are fine-tuned in AIVA to infuse tragic undertones and emotional continuity. AI not only accelerates production but also amplifies the emotional intensity and visual impact of the story, transforming this allegorical critique into an experience of heightened resonance.
