Wings of Time and Space
這件作品以「跨時空的飛行與運動設計」為核心，將達文西的前衛構想、古代文明的工藝精神與未來 AI 演算能力融合於同一個場景中。畫面左側的達文西，象徵人類早期對飛行與動力的無限想像；右側的兵馬俑則承載著東方古文明對秩序、結構與防禦的極致追求。中央懸浮的飛行器與火箭，代表現代與未來科技對速度、探索與跨越疆界的渴望。作品中特別以全息投影形式呈現古代馬車與 AI 生成的馬車，寓意技術不僅能複製歷史，更能透過演算創造新的可能。藍色光影象徵智慧演算的流動，金屬質感則暗示永續材料與精密製造的結合。 本作旨在回應桃園航空城的發展脈絡， 思考當 AI與機構動力結合後，如何推動未來空拍機群體協作、動力結構的精準控制，以及機器手臂與材料工程在製造場景中的創新應用。這是一個時間與空間交織的實驗室，在歷史的靈感與未來的演算之間，孕育出全新的運動設計想像。
This work centers on the theme of “flight and motion design across time and space,” merging Leonardo da Vinci’s visionary concepts, the craftsmanship of ancient civilizations, and the computational power of future AI within a single scene. On the left, Leonardo symbolizes humanity’s early boundless imagination of flight and dynamics; on the right, the Terracotta Warriors embody Eastern civilization’s pursuit of order, structure, and defense. At the center, a suspended flying machine and rocket represent modern and future technology’s longing for speed, exploration, and the crossing of boundaries.
Through holographic projections of an ancient chariot paired with its AI-generated counterpart, the piece suggests that technology not only replicates history but also creates new possibilities through computation. Flowing blue light symbolizes the fluidity of intelligent algorithms, while metallic textures allude to the fusion of sustainable materials and precision manufacturing.
Responding to the developmental context of the Taoyuan Aerotropolis, the work reflects on how the integration of AI with mechanical power may enable the collaborative operation of future drone fleets, precise control of dynamic structures, and innovations in robotic arms and materials engineering within manufacturing. This is envisioned as a laboratory where time and space converge—nurturing new imaginations of motion design between historical inspiration and computational futures.
