《你藥知道》專為長者設計，透過拍攝藥品包裝或說明書，即可自動辨識文字，並由AI將專業醫療資訊轉化為簡單易懂的內容，再以語音朗讀呈現。此系統讓長者不用苦讀小字，也能了解所服藥物的名稱、用途與注意事項，降低誤用、重複用藥及服藥錯亂的風險。設計結合Google Vision文字辨識、OpenAI ChatGPT語意簡化、語音合成與互動前端介面，並透過3D列印與TTS模組製作實體裝置，建立長者、照護者與醫療人員間的友善溝通橋樑。作品核心理念在於讓AI不只是冷冰冰的工具，而成為陪伴與守護的力量，補足因視力、記憶衰退或專業知識不足造成的理解斷層，使長者在日常生活中感受到安心與尊重。
Know Your Medicine is designed specifically for older adults. By capturing images of medication packaging or leaflets, the system automatically recognizes the text and uses AI to convert professional medical information into simple, easy-to-understand content, which is then read aloud. This allows seniors to understand the names, uses, and precautions of their medications without straining to read small print, reducing the risks of misuse, duplicate intake, and dosage errors.
The design integrates Google Vision for text recognition, OpenAI ChatGPT for semantic simplification, text-to-speech synthesis, and an interactive front-end interface. A physical device was also created using 3D printing and TTS modules, establishing a friendly communication bridge among seniors, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. The core concept emphasizes AI not as a cold tool, but as a companion and guardian, bridging gaps caused by visual impairment, memory decline, or lack of professional knowledge, allowing older adults to feel secure and respected in their daily lives.
