Arcadia of Smart Craft
我的作品靈感來自桃園多元的文化與工藝，並融合未來科技的想像。我繪製了桃園許多具代表性的景點，並將它們放置在一座漂浮於空中的「科技空島」上，象徵傳統與未來的相遇。在空島上，AI 技術被運用來投影原住民的圖騰，展現傳統木雕與織布的細膩之美。同時，也有客家文化的布袋戲被投影出來，讓觀眾能以全新的方式感受這些文化。
作品中，達文西化身為穿著客家藍染紋樣服裝的創作者，手中操作著科技面板，與 AI 一起參與工藝創作，象徵人類創意與人工智慧的協作力量。我希望透過這個畫面，傳達「科技不是取代，而是讓文化延續與升華」的理念。桃園擁有豐富的多元族群文化，透過 AI 的輔助，可以將這些傳統工藝以更多元、更有趣的形式呈現給世界，讓文化在未來持續閃耀。
Inspired by Taoyuan’s rich diversity of cultures and crafts, this work blends tradition with visions of future technology. Iconic landmarks of Taoyuan are illustrated and placed upon a floating “technological sky island,” symbolizing the encounter between heritage and innovation. On this island, AI technology is used to project indigenous totems, showcasing the intricate beauty of traditional woodcarving and weaving. Hakka culture also comes alive through projected glove puppetry, allowing audiences to experience these traditions in new and engaging ways.
Within the scene, Leonardo da Vinci appears as a creator dressed in Hakka indigo-dyed patterns, operating a futuristic interface alongside AI, embodying the collaborative power of human creativity and artificial intelligence. The work conveys the belief that “technology does not replace, but rather sustains and elevates culture.” With AI as a creative partner, Taoyuan’s multicultural heritage can be presented to the world in more diverse and playful forms—ensuring that these traditions continue to shine into the future.
