《靜觀之中》探索了當代 AI 與人類互動中的「觀看與被觀看」議題。作品以即時影像感知系統與 AI 臉部分析技術，將觀者的表情、情緒、性別與年齡轉譯為動態生成的色彩、圖形與聲音，呈現 AI 對每個人的「第一印象」。這不僅是技術的展示，更是一場對數位主體性與情感理解的深層思考：AI 在感知與回應的過程中，是否真能捕捉人類的內在，或僅是我們自身在演算法中的倒影？透過互動，觀眾得以感受 AI 的凝視，同時反思自身在被觀看時的情感與行為變化。《靜觀之中》以視覺、聲音與互動為媒介，揭示科技如何重塑我們的自我認知與人性理解，挑戰人類對「真實」與「感知」的既定想像。
In the Stillness, Perceived investigates the dynamics of “seeing and being seen” within contemporary human–AI interaction. Through real-time image recognition and AI facial analysis, the project translates viewers’ expressions, emotions, gender, and age into dynamically generated colors, patterns, and sounds—presenting AI’s “first impression” of each individual. Beyond a technological showcase, the piece prompts deeper reflection on digital subjectivity and emotional perception: does AI truly grasp the human inner world, or merely reflect our image within algorithmic frameworks? By engaging with the system, participants experience the gaze of AI while reflecting on how being observed shapes their feelings and behaviors. Merging visuals, sound, and interactivity, In the Stillness, Perceived reveals how technology reshapes self-awareness and human understanding, challenging conventional notions of “reality” and “perception.”
