Sunlight Submarine
《Sunlight Submarine》以元智大學天河書屋為基地，重新構築一個沉澱、互動與感受光影的閱讀場域。設計以「圓」為核心語彙，象徵包覆、流動與凝視，並以柔和曲線串連空間，讓人自由移動與停留。圓形窗戶如潛艇艙門，既引入自然光，也成為觀看世界的框景，帶領人從專注走向放鬆。創作中，團隊以 AI 文字生圖將「圓形結構」、「日光灑落」、「靜謐閱讀空間」等抽象語彙轉化為具象影像，再透過圖生圖技術細化材質與光影，形成兼具包覆性與流動感的空間語彙。AI 在此不僅是加速視覺化的工具，更是啟發思考與拓展感知的創作夥伴，使「日光潛艇」成為一場潛入光影深處的閱讀旅程。
Sunlight Submarine reimagines Yuan Ze University’s Tianhe Book House as a contemplative reading space for interaction and immersion in light and shadow. The design takes the “circle” as its core vocabulary—symbolizing enclosure, fluidity, and gaze—while soft curves interweave the space, enabling free movement and moments of pause. Circular windows, reminiscent of submarine portholes, invite natural light while framing the outside world, guiding visitors from focus to relaxation.
During the creative process, the team employed AI text-to-image generation to transform abstract ideas such as “circular structures,” “sunlit spaces,” and “serene reading environments” into concrete visuals. Image-to-image techniques further refined the materiality and lighting, producing a spatial language that balances intimacy with flow. Here, AI serves not merely as a tool for accelerated visualization, but as a partner in inspiration and perception—turning Sunlight Submarine into a journey of diving deep into the realm of light and shadow.
